BACKGROUND
Nimroz is one of the thirty-four provinces of Afghanistan. It is in the south-west of the country on the borders of Iran and Pakistan. Border police stations are designed to control the Afghanistan region and will be left to Afghan people. In addition to areas being unsecure also the terrain is though. The dessert and sand storms make the sites more challenging than it is. The local material availability is limited as well as the logistic possibilities.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consists of the design and construction of site improvements and construction of facilities to support the Afghanistan National Border Police (ANBP) Units in Afghanistan. This project is defined as the management, design, material, labor, and equipment to design and construct and/or refurbish all utilities, roads, buildings, force protection measures, site security, de-mining activities.
Steel Structure DOD certified buildings of DFAC, Training building and ECP and other buildings are latrine, barracks, Administration Building, Ammunition Supply, guard towers, gate house and a well house and organic waste disposal system. Also the complex is powered by a generator.
