BACKGROUND

 

Al Amar is located approximately 195 km southwest of Riyadh. It comprises an underground mine which is planned to process a gold rich polymetalic ore at a rate of 200 ktpa to produce gold in dore and copper and zinc concentrates which are sold to third parties for toll smelting. Processing will involve crushing, grinding, copper flotation, and recovery of gold from the copper flotation tailings by CIL technology and zinc flotation. Its products will be copper concentrate, dore and zinc concentrate, which will all be sent abroad for refining. This project is closely observed by other investors because of its importance to Saudi Arabia. Due to that reason CH Engineering served client with the best & fast installation, start up and training. Plant started before planned schedule and without problem or incident.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

 

Al Amar gold mine has CIC carbon system and 4 tons ADR plants. CH Supervisor team and site team had completed 110 ton of Structural Steel Erection, all of ADR equipment installation and start – up, over 2000 meters of CS and HDPE piping plant and training of the staff.
