BACKGROUND

 

The hotel was built as an extension of an existing casino which was also completed by proccea. Hotel brought Suriname a chance to attract higher class tourists not only from long distances but also from neighbors. The contract was started as fixed price however due to project changes a significant modification had been completed as cost plus without any extension to the programmed opening. Existing facilities continued their activities and no major problems were experienced. Our prior hotel experience in the same region made this project progress smoothly on material delivery. While this is the only premium hotel in the area the 90 room hotel is ranked as 4 star.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

 

Reinforced concrete construction of 90 rooms. Central cooling with variable refrigeration flow allowed a huge saving.

Hotel has 90 rooms, 2 restaurants, one casino, open swimming pools, a spa, tennis court, parking space for 250 cars and landscaped areas of 25.000 m² mechanical and electrical systems were designed to the latest technologies.
